Yin Yoga with Meghan

Yin is a practice of stillness and deep release. By gently holding grounded postures for a longer period of time, we begin to affect the yin tissues of the body (tendons, ligaments, fascia). Although the practice is less active and dynamic, challenge can emerge in other ways. Being still and quiet, as one explores the edges of the body can bring feelings of discomfort – but that is exactly where the potential for expansion and transformation lies. Meghan lovingly holds space as we explore the inner world, and practice getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.

About the teacher: Meghan has a background in dance, and has now been teaching yoga and hosting retreats full-time for over 13 years. She has a strong foundation in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin. She weaves together a practice that nourishes, challenges and empowers, but also hopes to inspire students to take their practice off their mat to live a life more aligned with yogic values. In helping people to be the best version of themselves possible, Meghan is now starting to expand her work in new directions as a Holistic Sex Coach. She is also available for private yoga classes.
